Business Development Executive


Position Location

New Delhi

Primary Purpose

Leverage your demonstrated track record of selling both SaaS and on-premises enterprise solutions to healthcare, education and corporate enterprise sectors to cultivate and sustain strong relationships within our industry.

General Responsibilities

• Initiate and develop product and positioning plans around new market opportunities
• Size market and develop profitable business plan and timelines for the target markets/products
• Generate sales leads, follow up on internally generated existing leads and support existing customers
• Provide in-depth demonstrations of the Purple wave products (frequent)
• Generate a business plan, provide forecasting data and continue manage to plan as product and market dynamics change
• Manage complex, enterprise solution sales opportunities involving 6-12+ month sales cycles
• Develop deep understanding of market trends & opportunities, and build frameworks to prioritize most promising opportunities.
• Research and obtain market intelligence with respect to customer needs in a particular application environment as well as competitive offerings and product opportunities
• Foster closer alignment with key corporate functions such as product development and product marketing
• Collaborate with sales leadership and Managing Director to ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising and promotional planning
• Act as key evangelist and visionary for Purple wave, articulating and publicizing corporate strategy and value proposition inside and outside of Purple Wave.
• Identify, recruit and develop new channel and technology partnerships in the target market(s)

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a related field
• Directly related experience in several industries with proven direct sales record and a personal network of senior industry executives
• Strong experience in initiation, development and execution of business strategies and key initiatives
• Program management experience running large-scale projects in complex, cross-functional environment
• Superior analytical rigor paired with ability to think ‘outside the box’
• Ability to effectively interact with and influence senior management
• Team player with excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Highly motivated self-starter, able to take charge and “get things done” in unstructured, highly dynamic environment
• Excellent understanding of enterprise software space, audio visual industry, or both.
• Previous experience with SaaS services conceptualization, commercialization and growth.
• Knowledgeable and proficient with Salesforce.com

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Inside Sales Representative


Position Location

New Delhi

Primary Purpose

Inside Sales Representatives are required to intelligently prospect, profile, identify and close business with decision-makers of companies and universities throughout the assigned territory. Driving revenue and sales to meet personal and regional targets through prospecting, appointment setting, active funnel management and accurate forecasting.

General Responsibilities

• Outbound calls to new prospects and existing customers to create new sales opportunities.
• Follow up with leads that get assigned to regional managers and performs tasks that are assigned as per reporting formats.
• Respond to inbound sales inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provides administrative support to Regional Managers.
• Processes all incoming orders.

Experience & Qualifications

• Desire to sell, familiarity with basic sales procedures and outbound calling experience.
• Basic technical knowledge necessary, experience with Salesforce a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 1 to 3 years of previous inside sales experience desired

Regional Sales Manager


Position Location

New Delhi, Bangalore, kolkata

Primary Purpose

Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the Purple wave business in a given region.

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for all sales within the region (direct/indirect).
• Generate sales leads, follow up on internally generated existing leads and support existing customers.
• Provide demonstrations of the Purple Wave product as appropriate.
• Generate a regional business plan and forecasting data and continue manage to plan, while keeping sales activity updated in provided formats.
• Work with Channel teams to develop sales teams of the assigned channels in your region

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in direct sales role within the media industry (outside sales, and/or sales engineer)
• Previous experience selling into higher education market
• Must have technical background and drive—must want to use and demonstrate the Purple wave product.
• Ability to bring sales to closure, identifying the decision-makers and forming relationships with them.
• Ability to work for Long Hours.
• Ability to travel up to 50-60% within region.
• Must be self motivated with exceptional communciation skills.

Event Marketing Internship


Position Location

New Delhi

Primary Purpose

Assists in the planning and execution of Purple wave’s presence at industry trades shows, customer/dealer events, corporate meetings and travel with support for marketing projects.

General Responsibilities

• Work with the Marketing Manager to oversee Purple wave’s exhibit house to keep booth properties stored, maintained and ready for deployment, supervise logistics for tradeshows, events nationally
• Work with the marketing team to plan and execute logistics, rentals and labor for the installation and dismantle of regional tradeshow exhibits and dealer/corporate events.
• Coordinate payment and reconciliation of post-show invoices.
• Assist in the planning and execution of all special events, including Purple wave’s annual conference
• Assist with tradeshow management across departments ensuring consistency and collaboration while following established guidelines, processes and tools.
• Work with the marketing team to qualify trade show opportunities and appropriately budget for upcoming shows and events.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of tradeshow and event industry trends and best in class practices as related to responsibilities.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and registration for customers speaking at trade shows, webinars and events.

Online Marketing Internship

Provide support for online marketing projects.

General Responsibilities

• Building newsletters, webinar invites and other general emails.
• Assist with customer database management
